Foolish hearts by emma mills5/8/2023 ![]() ![]() One, in particular, that is enemies-to-friends, I LIVED for. When you get to the part about the Spooky Tree, tell me her brother isn’t the greatest ever ❤ ❤ They shared this crazy, sweet, amazing bond that was so heartwarming and healthy. Her parents made me a laugh quite a few times (I laughed out loud a lot with reading FH and that’s rare for me) but it was the relationships with her siblings that I loved. Hands down these are what made this book land in my Top Ten of 2017.įirst, there’s Claudia’s family. ![]() I guess what I’m saying is that you need to read it, seriously, if you read any book because of my reviews, make it this one. They are incredible lines, thought-provoking, laughter-inducing lines, but you need to have read it to appreciate them. The thing is that none of them would have the same impact if you hadn’t read the book. For instance, I tried to choose a favorite quote and I made A LOT of notes while reading so there was a lot to choose from. I’m going to try to tell you why but honestly it’s really about the way all the parts come together. ![]() I have never read a book by Emma Mills before, and after reading Foolish Hearts I plan to fix that ASAP. ![]() “If you only like one version of your favorite, then they’re not really your favorite” (p.136 – Iris) ![]()
