Sidetracked book st abby5/9/2023 There we go, I’m rooting for a female serial killer! But I tend to like villains! And Lana isn’t really a villain. They deserved everything that Lana did to them. ST Abby finally tells us what happened to Lana, and this first chapter is not an easy read! We had some hints throughout, but what these men/boys did. I got through 50% of All the Lies on a Sunday! That is saying something for me as I’m not the fastest reader, but it’s hard to put down once you get going. This series is really good! It also helps that the books are novellas, so you can get through them quickly. **BE WARNED: Some flashbacks can get intense to readers with a sensitive trigger. I never believed in being blinded by love…until Lana. I’m an expert at knowing when someone is lying to me. I pride myself on being impossible to fool. Worst of all, I don’t even know who to trust anymore. Every time I think I’ve heard the worst, another truth is dug up from the ashes of more burning lies. I don’t understand how this town can continue to function without breaking under the weight of all the lies they’ve spun and lived.Įvery time I find a shard of truth, my gut twists, my heart beats faster, and I hate this place a little more. I don’t even know what side I’m on anymore. There’s no such thing as a gray area.īut fuck this case. It’s a dangerous place to be, especially when you start to empathize and lose your own sense of morality. To understand the monsters in the world, you have to get inside their heads.
